Canada wins fifth straight gold at world juniors

Canada's world junior hockey team defeated Sweden 5-1 to claim its fifth straight championship Monday night, in front of thousands of roaring fans in Ottawa.

A fallen Canadian soldier was remembered by family and friends at a funeral service in the Upper Ottawa Valley, Monday. Sgt. Gregory John Kruse was killed alongside fellow soldier Warrant Officer Gaetan Joseph Roberge in a bomb blast on Dec. 27.
